Fundraise for our appeal
Fundraise to help us build a better future
There are so many ways that you can help us raise funds for our Build A Better Future appeal. We are asking all our families, friends and supporters to organise your own fundraising events or challenge to raise money to help us complete the vital work on our new children’s centre.
We need to raise £450,000 to reach our final target, and every £1 that you can fundraise will take us closer to reaching that goal!
What can I do to fundraise for the appeal?
The possibilities for your fundraising event or challenge are endless! Here are 7 ideas to get you started:
- Achieve a set amount of steps every day over a month – this could be anything from 10,000 steps a day to 450,000 over the course of a month or two!
- Walk 2.2 miles – the distance between our old home in Whitchurch and our new children’s centre in Llanishen. A great one for our younger supporters!
- Hold a charity bake sale
- Host a virtual quiz night
- Fundraise with your colleagues - Hold a dress-up team meeting, lunchtime quiz or gather virtually after work for a chat and donate the cost of a pint!
- Set yourself a running, swimming, or cycling challenge and gather sponsorship for your amazing efforts.
- Hold a birthday fundraiser and ask friends and family to donate to the Build a Better Future appeal instead of giving you presents.
